It is based on artificial manipulation and alter of genetic material from one organism to another. Basically the cells coded in with the refreshed genetic information will pass those selected traits on to their offspring. Genetic combinations talent be useful but not often found in nature.Genetic engineering now a days , is used in euphony to produce insulin and growth hormones, for those who lack it. The genes in humans are isolated using enzymes produced by bacteria which cleave DNA at specific base pairs, and then inserted into a a virus. The virus then is inserted into the bacteria DNA, ten the bacteria produces the hormones, which are then collected and given to patients who most need them. The hope for genetic engineering is soon a restore bath be found for diseases by either inserting a rectify gene or even performing a genetic surgery. presently many pregnant women like to halt the fetuses screened for genetic defects so it can allow them and there physician to prepare for the arrival of the child who whitethorn need to have special needs.Describe the positive aspects of this biotechnology, being as specific as possible. (5 points ) In my opinion, I commemorate biotechnology can benefit us all in a volume of different ways, but only if we use it mighty and only if we are really in need of it. For example, I think genetic engineering could help actually save a lot of lives and troubles that one might have when born. If treated right, a disease or disorder can be cured before one is born.
